UCB is seeking a Process Engineer for its Process Engineering team at the Belgium campus in Braine-l'Alleud. You will support clinical manufacturing transfers, scale-up, and execution for biologics and rAAV processes, collaborating with development, manufacturing, QA, and global engineering.

You will draft SOPs and risk assessments, define equipment design, and contribute to qualification activities. A strong problem-solving mindset and fluency in French and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in biologics drug substance manufacturing.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure technology transfers from development to clinical manufacturing.
• Draft SOPs, risk assessments, and process documentation.
• Define equipment design and support the qualification for new equipment and single-use assemblies.
• Act as a subject matter expert for biologics and rAAV manufacturing.
• Analyze manufacturing data and contribute to campaign reports and knowledge systems.
• Drive digitalization, process optimization, and tech innovation across the plant.
