Jan De Nul Group is seeking a BIM Modeler/Designer to support on-site design and execution from our Mons construction sites. You will coordinate, model and identify issues across disciplines, ensuring quality from tender to execution.

Responsibilities include creating Revit models, producing 2-D drawings, and maintaining standards while collaborating with design engineers, site managers and estimators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit or willingness to develop skills in this software.
• Strong 3-D insight.
• Few years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer is an asset.

• Prepare 2-D execution drawings and quantity take-offs from the BIM model.
• Adhere to internal drafting standards, planning and quality procedures and project-specific agreements such as the BIM Execution Plan.
• Work with models from other disciplines (architecture, MEP) and collaborate with the entire project team to achieve a clash-free model.
• Propose improvements or solutions where needed and report regularly on the status of ongoing projects.
• Check your own models and derived documents and coordinate with the Team Lead, Design Engineers, Site Managers and Estimators.

Job Overview

As a BIM Modeler / Designer based at one of our construction sites in Mons, you will be partly responsible for the overall quality of our projects from conceptual design to execution. You coordinate, model and identify issues, supporting the design and engineering department which develops design calculations and engineering solutions for all JDN projects from tender to execution.

Key Responsibilities
