Alan is expanding its billing platform and seeking a Software Engineer to help build the backbone of our financial systems. You will ship scalable, reliable billing services, design modular primitives, and ensure invoices are accurate across countries and products.

You’ll work with Python/Flask, React, and PostgreSQL, collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver a unified platform experience while shaping the architecture and long-term strategy of Alan’s core financial stack.

Qualifications

• Experience with scalable, resilient platform design.
• Ability to navigate complex business logic and dependencies.
• Fluent English required; French a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Build the core billing engine to process high volumes of transactions daily.
• Design modular, reusable billing primitives and abstractions that scale across products and regions.
• Integrate with internal systems and external payment platforms.
• Automate workflows and billing schedules at scale for companies of all sizes.
• Ensure invoices are accurate, reliable, and easy to manage for users.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to maintain a unified platform experience.
