Abbott is seeking an EHS Coordinator Benelux to lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs across Belgium and the Netherlands. You will act as the regional EHS expert, ensuring compliance and driving improvements across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include coordinating EHS programs, leading health, ergonomics and emergency preparedness initiatives, and managing reporting and stakeholder alignment with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Certification as Prevention Advisor (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Experience in a multi-site or regional environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and Abbott standards across Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Coordinate and implement EHS programs across multiple entities.
• Lead occupational health, ergonomics, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to commercial and field activities.
• Support teams on safety topics including radiation, biohazards, and PPE.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage EHS reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.
• Act as the main EHS point of contact, driving alignment with leadership and external stakeholders.
