AvioBook, a global aviation software leader, seeks a Backend Software Engineer (NodeJS, NestJS) for its Hasselt HQ. You’ll own backend services powering AVIOBOOK Connect, focusing on offline-capable, real-time APIs and reliable, secure software.

Collaborate across Product, Design and Engineering in an Agile setup to deliver value. You’ll work with a modern stack including MongoDB, RabbitMQ, AWS and observability tools, driving end-to-end ownership and continuous improvement in a dynamic scale-up

Qualifications

Proven backend development experience with NodeJS/NestJS and TypeScript.
Strong skills in building REST APIs, WebSockets and scalable services.
Experience delivering secure, production-ready software with incident handling.

Responsibilities

Own backend features end-to-end from refinement to production.
Build reliable, real-time, offline-capable backend services for AVIOBOOK Connect.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers and Engineers to ship high-quality software.
Identify risks, performance bottlenecks and resolve production issues with monitoring tools.
