Voltmasters in Gistel is looking for a backend developer to work on their Energy Management System. You will build new APIs and backend modules using PHP (Laravel) while integrating various data streams.

What you will do

You work on the core of our EMS platform, built in Laravel and connected to a network of smart devices.

• You build new APIs and backend modules that drive our energy controllers.
• You integrate external data streams via AWS, MQTT and InfluxDB.
• You help shape the architecture, performance and scalability of the platform.
• You help turn raw sensor data into usable insights.
• You work closely with our embedded and frontend engineers to build a reliable, performant and elegant whole.

You work not only on code, but on the future of how companies deal with energy.

What we expect

• You have a good knowledge of PHP (Laravel).
• Experience with API design, databases and event-driven systems.
• You write readable, structured and well-tested code.
• You enjoy thinking about product decisions and technical strategy.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well in a team.

Extra points if you have experience with IoT, energy projects or AWS, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter just as much.
