Description of the job position

As a backend developer, you play a key and dynamic role in the company. You drive the success of an innovative and state of the art software product by partnering with the development and product teams.

Concretely, Your Role Is To

• Actively contribute to the development of the backend of Cooperlink and occasionally help the frontend team
• Develop integrations with third party tools
• Experimenting with new features and driving PoCs.

You will work on fascinating subjects, at the cutting edge of technology, in a modern, inspiring and fostering collaboration.

You join a team of 10 people. Your manager is Thomas Marechal, CTO of the company. It is with great enthusiasm that he includes you in the adventure. He leaves a great deal of work autonomy and expects his colleagues to take initiatives and think outside the box to achieve their objectives.

Your profile

You have several years of experience in Java. You want to be part of a young and dynamic team. You are curious, with a creative spirit and you are motivated. You are enthusiastic about participating in the development of an innovative product on the market. You like to have the satisfaction of a job well done and want to make a real contribution to the evolution of the company and its strategy. You are looking for opportunities to actively contribute to a scaling company.

You are Dutch or French speaking. You will work from the head office at Liege Airport Business Park with, if desired, the possibility of 50% teleworking.

You Support Cooperlink With

• A strong education in software development (Master or Bachelor)
• Several years of experience in backend technologies, in particular Java, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, ...
• You are ready to invest yourself in developing creative approaches to technical challenges
• You are familiar with versioning and collaboration tools (eg. Git, Jira, Confluence, ...)

The Following Are Acknowledged Strengths, Without Being Mandatory

• You are comfortable in English and French or Dutch.
• Familiarity with the concepts of object-oriented programming (OOP) and dependency injection (DI/IOC)
• Experience in UX / UI design (Angular, Typescript)
• Experience in .NET
• Experience in mobile development (Flutter, Dart)
• Knowledge of SignalR, SAML, OWIN, SSO, ...
• An experience in machine learning / data mining / optimization
