Ubique Systems in Belgium is seeking an experienced Back-End Java & Cloud Engineer to join a modern cloud-native engineering team. You will design, develop and deploy Java-based backend apps and API services, focusing on scalable microservices with Spring Boot and cloud-native infrastructure on Azure, with some AWS exposure.

Responsibilities include containerization with Docker, Kubernetes orchestration, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via Azure Pipelines or GitLab Actions, plus on-call

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Java experience, 3-5 years Azure Cloud, 3-5 years API development.
• Digital product / digital platform experience required.
• Strong teamwork and incident resolution experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, document, and deploy Java-based backend apps and API services.
• Build scalable microservices with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native apps on Azure (AWS also considered).
• Provision and manage cloud infra using Terraform or IaC.

• Collaborate with analysts to resolve incidents and deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

This role offers the opportunity to work across customer-facing applications, API platforms, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps environments, leveraging the latest Java and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and deploy Java-based backend applications and API services
