Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a credit control specialist to join the finance team in Belgium. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on managing and following up on outstanding receivables across a diverse customer base, including key accounts.

You will collaborate with accounting and sales to resolve disputes and implement payment plans. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in B2B collections, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Dutch or French plus English.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B collections.
• Advanced knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, with recent hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of a collection tool.
• Accounting insight and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to deal with change and flexibility.
• Full professional proficiency in Dutch or French.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices within your assigned customer portfolio.
• Follow up on the key account portfolio by phone and in writing.
• Manage complaints, disputes and payment plans for all customer segments.
• Analyse and coordinate complex customer files with internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and ensure correct allocation of unassigned payments in collaboration with the accounting team.
