adesso Belgium is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design and guide modern data platforms on Azure, focusing on Lakehouse architectures with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. You will translate business goals into pragmatic architectures, guard coherence, and help teams deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will join the Data & AI team in Belgium, collaborating with colleagues in the Netherlands and across Europe.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end data architectures on Azure, covering ingestion, storage, processing, serving and governance.
• Shape Lakehouse/data platform blueprints using Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory.
• Translate business objectives into architectural roadmaps and transition steps.
• Evaluate Databricks vs Fabric vs other Azure components for client context.
• Define reference patterns (medallion architecture, CDC, data sharing, semantic layers).
• Collaborate with security and domain experts to align with enterprise standards.
• Work with data engineers, analytics engineers, BI developers and data scientists to implement architecture.
• Provide guidance on data modeling (dimensional modeling, data vault, star schema).
• Review solution designs, pipelines and models and troubleshoot issues.
