Job summary

Inetum Belgium is expanding its Azure Cloud Engineering team. The role focuses on designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure, managing container platforms in Azure, and automating with IaC. You will contribute to cost, security and governance while supporting Belgian client projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Azure, Kubernetes/Docker, scripting, and a proactive, independent mindset in a hybrid work setting with flexible hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure (certifications are a plus).
• Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and virtualization is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools and cloud security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
• Medior or Senior level: able to work independently and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Configure and manage container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) within Azure.
• Automate processes using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
• Cloud Governance: manage, monitor, and optimize cost, performance, security, compliance, and policies in Azure.
• Provide support for incidents and changes at level 2/3.
• Actively support projects and implementations for customers across Belgium.
• Advise clients and internal teams on Azure best practices and emerging technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub is a strong asset.
• Experience managing Azure PaaS services such as Logic Apps, Container Apps, Application Gateway, etc., is a strong asset.
