Job summary

1KOMMA5° Commercial Solutions GmbH in Liège seeks an Infrastructure / Cloud Platform Engineer to steward hybrid infrastructure across on-prem and Microsoft Azure. You will drive automation with Terraform, improve security controls and contribute to technical roadmaps while ensuring high availability and thorough documentation.

The role emphasizes operational support, incident handling and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on Azure-based services and DevOps practices in a bilingual IT

Qualifications

• Hybrid infrastructure experience (on-prem plus cloud) required.
• Azure compute, networking, identity and storage knowledge required.
• Windows and Linux administration experience required.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code required.
• Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD experience required.
• PowerShell scripting for automation required.
• Fluent French for IT team; English for EVS environment required.
• Familiarity with VMware or Proxmox, DNS, TCP/IP, firewall fundamentals, backup/DR and ISO27001 controls beneficial.
• Analytical, structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage and observe the hybrid infrastructure estate (on-prem and Azure).
• Maintain platform availability, performance and reliability while handling incidents and changes.
• Provide second- and third-line support and implement lasting resolutions.
• Design, implement and operate Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Contribute to platform standardisation, scalable designs and roadmaps.
• Create and maintain Terraform IaC; assist with Azure DevOps and Git CI/CD pipelines.
• Use PowerShell to automate tasks and promote DevOps practices.
• Apply security baselines, patches, hardening and ISO27001 controls; assist audits.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity; participate in recovery tests.
• Monitor cost and performance; improve tools and processes; document knowledge sharing.
