Job summary

Cognizant in Brussels (Elsene) seeks an AI Engineer to design and deploy Agentic AI solutions on the Microsoft Azure AI stack. You will build autonomous multi-agent systems that reason, act, and collaborate to solve complex tasks.

You'll work across the full lifecycle from design to deployment and scaling, integrating Azure AI services, AI Studio, OpenAI and Kubernetes to deliver robust, cloud-native applications for enterprise needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate with AI/computing focus.
• Experience in Python for AI workflows, APIs, and automation.
• Knowledge of agent orchestration, stateful logic, and tool-using agents.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, or LLM fine-tuning.
• Understanding cloud-native architecture, APIs, event-driven systems, and secure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Agentic AI Development: Design and deploy autonomous agents using Azure AI Agent Service and related tools; define agent logic, goals, and collaboration flows.
• End-to-End Ownership: Design to deployment and scaling of multi-agent systems.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage Azure services like AI Studio, OpenAI, Azure ML, Functions, and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
