TUI is seeking a Tooling Engineer in Belgium to ensure GSE and tooling availability and compliance across the group. You’ll collaborate with Supply Chain and maintenance teams to harmonize tools and manage procurement, inspections, and supplier relations.

The role covers cross-border tooling sourcing, audits, and SME guidance for European bases, with duties including coordinating AOG shipments and maintaining strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation stores and GSE support is required.
• Knowledge of Boeing tooling requirements and manuals.
• Familiar with safety around working at height and equipment maintenance.
• Solid IT skills and familiarity with engineering systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities.
• Understanding Human Factors in maintenance environment.
• Experience in performance management and driving results.
• Financial and commercial acumen to support decisions.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure availability of GSE and tooling across the group per EASA & HSE regulations.
• Promote tool harmonisation across the five TUI airlines to reduce duplication.
• Calibrate tooling and inspect GSE timelines with base/line maintenance teams.
• Attend meetings with tooling & GSE suppliers to review performance and partnerships.
• Review quotes and invoices to approve costs and identify compliance issues.
• Guide purchasing on procuring new or replacement tooling or GSE.
• Physically assess tooling before shipment to suppliers for repair.
• Coordinate distribution of all tools/GSE including AOG shipments across Europe.
• Identify obsolete tooling and assist in procurement of replacements.
• Act as SME for European TUI lines/bases and outsourced stations.
• Assist in internal audits related to tooling and GSE.
• Work in shifts Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
