Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Solutions Architect for Automotive based in Belgium. You will blend automotive expertise with Linux, embedded systems, and software development to design and demonstrate open-source solutions for customers.

The role covers presales, solution design, demonstrations, POCs, and selective project delivery, collaborating with cloud, Kubernetes, security, and safety specialists to shape next‑gen software-defined vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Extensive Linux experience with Debian/Ubuntu preferred.
• Embedded Linux with Yocto or RTOS exposure.
• Programming in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Knowledge of low-level Linux boot processes, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development methodologies.
• Professional English plus local language.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsabilités

• Engage with automotive customers during presales to understand requirements and explain technologies.
• Act as a technical advisor and advocate for open-source platforms in automotive use cases.
• Collaborate with cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded specialists to design solutions.
• Participate in Embedded Linux projects, demos, prototypes, and POCs.
• Translate market needs into actionable insights for engineering and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to reusable technical solutions addressing automotive opportunities.
• Support software-defined vehicles and cloud-enabled embedded environments.
• Explain complex concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
• Manage multiple engagements with a focus on delivery and outcomes.
