Nalys is seeking a Project Engineer – Automation to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing complex, regulated medical technology. You will translate system-level requirements into actionable automation tasks and ensure traceability across the development lifecycle.

You will lead collaborations between Automation, System/Device Owners, and Technical Teams, driving structured specifications, backlog items, and timely delivery while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance

Qualifications

Master's degree in electronics, mechatronics or related field.
Experience leading automation development and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong communication in English and/or French, in a medical device context.

Responsabilités

Act as single technical contact between Automation team, System Owner and Component Teams.
Decompose requirements into clear, testable specifications for Automation.
Ensure traceability in requirements management tools.
Clarify expectations and support prioritization with Automation engineers.
Lead technical discussions between Automation, System/Device Owner, and Technical Teams.
Support arbitration of technical decisions with stakeholders.
Define and maintain structured development specifications and backlog linked to system objectives.
Follow up on execution and resolve blocking points.
Produce and maintain structured engineering documentation.
Ensure compliance with development processes, quality standards and medical device constraints.
