Tosca, a global leader in reusable packaging and pooling solutions, invites a Project & Automation Engineer (EMEA) to spearhead automation initiatives across Europe. You will lead projects from concept to commissioning and drive digital technologies that improve throughput and reliability.

The role demands a strong background in automation engineering, robotics and PLC control systems, with proven experience delivering cross-country projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
• Strong experience in automation engineering, industrial systems, robotics, PLCs and control systems.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects across sites or countries.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous-improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Role

We are looking for a Project & Automation Engineer (EMEA) to lead automation initiatives, engineering projects, and equipment improvement programs across our European operations. This is a unique opportunity to combine innovation, project delivery, and hands-on engineering to make a lasting impact across multiple countries and facilities.

Your Mission

• Lead automation and engineering projects from concept through commissioning across EMEA.
• Design and implement innovative solutions that improve throughput, efficiency, and reliability.
• Drive robotics, smart systems, and digital technologies that reduce manual processes and optimize operations.
• Support the standardization and modernization of equipment across multiple sites.
• Analyze equipment performance data and implement long-term reliability improvements.

Location

Belgium (Antwerp Region Preferred) | EMEA Scope

The ideal candidate will be based in the Antwerp area and willing to regularly travel to Tosca's key Belgian operational sites in Schelle, Sint-Niklaas, and Zellik, as well as other locations across EMEA as required.

Contract

Full-time, permanent position.
