Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Automation Engineer to contribute to the development and standardisation of automated production systems in Welkenraedt, Belgium. You will implement automation solutions, develop reusable libraries, and ensure consistency across multiple machine projects, collaborating with international teams.

You will design and implement automation standards, configure Siemens PLCs, and advance OPC UA and PLC-to-robot communication.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience in industrial automation or similar engineering role.
• Master's degree in Automation, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on Siemens PLC programming experience.
• Experience developing and implementing automation standards across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with ISA-88 principles.
• Knowledge of OPC UA and PLC-to-robot communication.
• Native French speaker with good English proficiency.

• Knowledge of OPC UA and PLC-to-robot communication is a strong advantage.
• You are a native French speaker and have a good command of English.
• You are based in or willing to commute to Welkenraedt, Belgium, and are interested in a long‑term opportunity.
