Job summary

SABCA Limburg, at the Lummen site, specializes in high‑tech composite assemblies for aircraft. After extensive in‑company training, you will learn the complete production process from A to Z and be responsible for a safe, efficient, and high‑quality production process.

You will start up and monitor autoclaves, assemble components, perform quality checks, and ensure strict adherence to procedures. This role requires flexibility for alternating shifts and a strong team spirit.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a (process) operator in a production environment.
• Forklift and overhead crane operating certificates.
• Able to work independently and stay calm and efficient under pressure.
• Flexible and enjoy working in a team.
• Detail oriented with strong focus on quality.
• Willing to follow training to fully master the production process.

Responsibilities

• Start up and monitor the autoclave and the production process.
• Connect electrical and pneumatic components.
• Prepare moulds and remove finished parts from moulds.
• Carry out quality checks during the production process.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized at all times.
• Solve first-line technical issues and follow procedures.
• Help resolve computer and technical malfunctions.
• Work accurately and follow safety instructions.
• Work in an alternating early and late shift system.
• Contribute to compliance with ISO 14001 environmental standard.

At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. On the one hand, we produce integrated

skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves and of course, our colleagues’ extended know-how. In cooperation with the

Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft.

On the other hand, the Space industry is also present in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies.

After an extensive in-company training, you will learn the complete production process from A to Z. You will then be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality production process.

Your responsibilities:

• Start up and monitor the autoclave and the production process.
• Connect electrical and pneumatic components.
• Prepare moulds and remove finished parts from the moulds.
• Carry out quality checks during the production process.
