RSM Belgium is seeking an Audit Supervisor in Zaventem to lead audit teams and advise national and international clients. You will drive high-quality financial audits, coach juniors and act as a trusted advisor to a growing client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of external audit experience.
• Registered Auditor status.
• Bi-lingual NL/ENG proficiency.
• Entrepreneurial university degree with Belgian Accounting and Audit major.

Responsabilités

• Coach and supervise junior team members serving mid-sized SMBs and larger clients.
• Provide technical audit assistance including project- and entity-wide performance assessments.
• Plan and perform audit fieldwork, (statutory) reporting and completion for mid-sized SMBs and larger clients.
• Prepare client audit files per ISA with findings report.
• Keep Senior managers, directors and partners updated on audit progress.
• Visit clients onsite and act as key contact for your client portfolio.
• Identify business opportunities within your client base.
• Follow up on timesheets for your team members.

We are looking for ambitious, bi-lingual NL/ENG and self-driven Audit Supervisors in Zaventem who, together with us, will build the consulting of tomorrow.

Your role and responsibilities

In addition to driving high-quality financial audits, you also become a direct advisor to our national and international clients. As an Audit Supervisor you are in charge of an experienced audit team. Together with them, you will contribute to the growth of our business unit by

• Coaching and supervising junior team members who are in charge of mainly mid-sized SMBs and larger (inter)national clients.
• Providing technical audit assistance to them, including project and entity wide performance assessments.
• Planning and carrying out audit field work, (statutory) reporting and completion work for mid-sized SMBs and larger (inter)national clients.
• Preparing client audit files in accordance with the ISA including a report outlining the findings from your audit work.
• Keeping (Senior) managers, directors and partners up to date with the audit progress.
• Visiting clients onsite and serve as key point of contact for your client portfolio.
• Identifying business opportunities within your client base, should you have a commercial zest.
• Following up on time sheets of your team members.

• Do you have an entrepreneurial university degree? E.g. in economics, business sciences, STEM or similar? Do you have a major in Belgian Accounting and Audit?
• Are you a registered Auditor?
