Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, is hiring an Associate Scientist to provide analytical support for new molecular entities from Phase 1 through registration. You will develop LC/IC/GC methods, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct scientific evaluations of results.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Chemistry or related field (or a Bachelor with relevant experience) and have hands-on LC/IC/GC experience, as well as familiarity with Empower or OpenLab CDS. English fluency is required.

• Familiarity with cGMP; practical experience is an advantage.

As an Associate Scientist, you will play an essential role in providing analytical support for new molecular entities, including small molecules and new modalities (e.g., therapeutic peptides, conjugates, and oligonucleotides), from Phase 1 clinical development through registration.

Your Missions

• Perform analyses in support of reference standard characterization, with a primary focus on liquid chromatography (LC), ion chromatography (IC), and gas chromatography (GC; headspace and liquid injection).
• Develop fit-for-purpose LC, IC, and/or GC methods to meet the required Low-Level Reporting Threshold (LLRT) for accurate purity determination.
• Perform analyses in support of product and process characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability, with a primary focus on liquid chromatography (LC).
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines, analytical methods and specifications, GMP requirements, and safety standards.
• Conduct scientific evaluations of the results generated.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience.
• General knowledge of cGMP regulations; practical experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of and hands‑on experience with liquid chromatography (LC), ion chromatography (IC), and/or gas chromatography (GC).
• Knowledge of chromatography data systems (CDS), specifically Empower and/​or OpenLab.
• Experience with, or willingness to develop expertise in, other analytical characterization techniques (e.g., water determination and titrations).
• High standards of quality, with strong accountability for experimental work and results.
• Efficient, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and urgent requests.
• Customer‑focused and results‑driven mindset.
• Fluent in English.
