Delvaux in Antwerp is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily boutique operations, customer service, and sales development. You will engage high-end clients, uphold the brand’s image, and contribute to staff training and stock control.

The role requires at least 3 years in luxury retail, experience in boutique management, excellent communication, and strong clienteling skills. Dutch, French, and English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience in the luxury sector.
• Experience in a management role and in managing a boutique is required.
• CRM experience is highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Welcome, advise, and build loyalty with local and international clientele at Delvaux.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of service quality and customer reception.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of product lines to build relationships and increase sales.
• Develop sales and achieve objectives set by commercial management.
• Provide feedback on sales, customer profiles and product performance to your manager.
• Check and manage stock levels and optimize stock usage.
• Ensure proper boutique presentation and uphold Delvaux standards in visual merchandising.
• Provide reporting on point-of-sale activity and project follow-up.
• Support in achieving general and personal objectives; align organization with sales focus.
• Assist the Store Manager in staff training and ensure tasks are executed correctly.

For its prestigious boutique in Antwerp, Delvaux is looking for an Assistant Store Manager.

Founded in Brussels in 1829, Delvaux is the oldest luxury leather goods House in the world and has never ceased its activities since that date.

Delvaux, the inventor of the modern handbag, filed the first patent for a leather handbag in 1908. Among its extraordinary archives of over 3,000 designs, the Brillant (1958), the Tempête (1967), the Pin (1972), and the Lingot (2022) are among Delvaux's most iconic creations.

Your Mission:

You assist the Store Manager in the smooth running of the boutique and in the development of its activity, its operational and administrative management.

• Welcome, advise, and build loyalty with local and international clientele at Delvaux;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the quality of service and customer reception;
• Acquire extensive knowledge and understanding of our product lines to build a close relationship with customers and increase sales;
• Develop sales and achieve the objectives set by the commercial management;
• Provide feedback on sales, customer profiles, and product performance to your manager;
• Check and manage stock levels and their optimization;
• Ensure the proper presentation of the boutique. Represent the brand's image by adhering to the strictest standards in visual merchandising, maintenance, and Delvaux standards;
• Provide reporting on point-of-sale activity;
• Project follow-up;
• Support in achieving general and personal objectives;
• Ensure, with the Store Manager, that the entire organization of the boutique is oriented towards sales and customer service;
• Ensure follow-up (internally and with headquarters) of all initiatives organized in the boutique;
• Assist the Store Manager in staff training;
• Verify with the Store Manager that all tasks are executed correctly (cash register, product reception, customer assistance, customer service, etc.)

Your Profile

• You have at least 3 years of successful experience in the luxury sector;
• Experience in a management role and in managing a boutique is a must;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all levels of the organization;
• Experience in customer relationship management (CRM) is highly desired;
• Excellent clienteling skills;
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills;
• Have a relatively in-depth knowledge of the luxury market;
• Very good knowledge of Dutch, ideally a good understanding and practice of French and English.
