European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading microelectronics company, based in Leuven, who are looking for a talented ASIC Test Engineer to join their team. This is an initial 12 month freelance contract, onsite in Leuven 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include defining work packages with the Project Manager, setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house, and coordinating qualification and volume ramp plans with the customer. Strong ASIC testing background required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics with 5+ years in ASIC testing preferred.
• Experience with ASIC qualification methods such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• Experience in project-based work and collaboration with customers.
• Pro-active and customer-focused attitude.

Responsabilités

• Define and plan work packages for project stages with the Project Manager.
• Set up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discuss prototype-to-production ramp plans with the customer including characterization and qualification.
• Organize volume production and propose cost-improvement options with the customer and test house.

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading microelectronics company, based in Leuven, who are looking for a talented ASIC Test Engineer to join their team.

This is an initial 12 month freelance contract, with planned extensions, that will require you to work onsite in Leuven 3 days per week.

Responsibilities as ASIC Test Engineer:

• The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
• Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
• Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.

Requirements:

• You have a Master’s degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing ideally.
• You have experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• You have experience in project-based work.
• You are pro-active and customer focused.
