Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Ghent is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy production-ready AI and ML solutions for commerce applications.

You will work with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP and intelligent agents to improve customer experiences, optimise operations and automate business processes. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to grow into senior AI leadership.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, DS or SWE.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions to production.
• Hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP or AI agents.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Strong software engineering principles and API/cloud knowledge.

As an AI Engineer at a forward-thinking commerce company in Ghent, you'll build LLM, generative AI and agent-based solutions that enhance customer experiences, optimise commerce operations and automate key business processes. You'll create intelligent applications that help businesses manage product data, understand customer behaviour, personalise shopping journeys and simplify commercial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for commerce applications.

Your Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, NLP, Data Science or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP or AI agents.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, APIs and cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in applying AI to real-world commercial challenges.
