Job summary

Polymer Precision Solutions Belgium N.V. is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to plan, execute, and report on projects aligned with customer requirements and internal processes.

You will lead project teams, drive feasibility and release milestones, assess risks, and support the sales team with technical insights. English is essential, Dutch and German are an advantage, and occasional travel across Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plastic product manufacturing and related processes is an advantage.
• Experience with modern process control techniques.

Job Description

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on projects in accordance with agreed customer requirements and internal project management procedures. You will provide operational leadership to project team members to ensure work is carried out efficiently and within established objectives. You will also be responsible for achieving successful customer approval, approved feasibility, and internal release according to defined criteria. In addition, you will manage project risks and provide technical support to the sales team.

• Ability to make decisions despite incomplete information.
• Team player with the ability to communicate effectively across different disciplines and cultures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Capable of independently planning, organizing, motivating, and evaluating work.
• Flexible regarding tasks and working conditions.
• Excellent command of English; Dutch and German are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Europe several times per year for short periods.
