Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is looking for an AML compliance professional in Diegem, Belgium. In this role, you will support the Assurance Business Line and collaborate with international teams to enhance AML processes and training programs.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in Law or equivalent experience, alongside 4-5 years in AML compliance. The position offers a flexible work environment and an attractive remuneration package.

Our Belgian Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation entails significant compliance aspects to EY such as client onboarding, risk assessments, policy and procedure management, analyses of atypical transactions. The AML team plays a decisive role in shaping EY’s perception and operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the Assurance Business Line on applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Research and analyze client procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver AML training programs.
• Collaborate with international EY AML teams.
• Support the AML Compliance Officer in the implementation and continuous improvement of the AML program.
• Conduct AML compliance checks for client onboarding and continuation processes.
• Enhance AML processes, procedures, and tools.
• Provide compliance advice based on risk assessments.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree, preferably in Law, from a Belgian university, or equivalent through experience.
• 4–5 years of experience in AML Compliance, preferably within the second line of defense.
• Strong understanding of the AML/CTF regulatory framework.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch or French, with a passive knowledge of the other language, and fluency in English.
• Team player with a resilient mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a client-oriented approach.
• Proficient in the use of technology and digital tools.
