Randstad Digital Belgium is seeking a Senior Java / Angular Developer to join a high-impact project for the European Commission. This freelance / project-based contract role is hybrid, based in the Brussels area, and requires immediate availability.

The role covers Java (10+ years) with Spring, Angular (5+ years), and relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL). English is required; French is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Angular
• 10+ years of experience with Java & Spring Framework
• 10+ years of experience with Relational Databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with testing/tools (JUnit, Cucumber, TDD, SonarQube, Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket/Bamboo)
• Agile / SCRUM experience
• English proficiency; French is an asset

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java / Angular Developer to join a high-impact project for the European Commission. This role is open strictly for Freelancers / Project-based Contractors.

Please note: Due to strict tender requirements, candidates who do not meet the minimum experience criteria cannot be considered.

Mandatory Requirements (Strict Pass/Fail Criteria)

• 5+ years of experience with Angular
• 10+ years of experience with Java & Spring Framework
• 10+ years of experience with Relational Databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)

Technical Stack & Desirable Expertise

• Testing & Tools: JUnit, Cucumber, TDD, SonarQube, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
• Methodology: Agile / SCRUM

Certifications (Bonus Points)

• Oracle Certified (Associate / Professional Java Programmer / Web Component Developer)

Soft Skills & Languages

• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (spoken & written). French is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills in multi-lingual team environments.
• Autonomous, result-driven mindset with quick ramp-up capacity.
