Datashift is seeking an Analytics Lead to bridge the gap between analytical use cases and technical solutions. You will support clients in becoming data-driven and translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, expertise in cloud solutions, and strong leadership skills. The company offers an entrepreneurial environment with excellent terms of employment, including a company car, meal vouchers, and continuous training.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience delivering multiple data analytics projects.
• Expertise in cloud-based architectures and solution deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and SQL; knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a significant advantage.

We are currently seeking a hands‑on Analytics Lead who can bridge the gap between analytical use cases and technical solutions and further develop our Analytics Engineer practice.

Your responsibilities

• Support clients in their journey towards becoming data driven by bridging the gap between business and technology;
• Be able to understand the strategic goals of a company, pinpoint the value of data and understand + communicate the role and value of data in this regard;
• Translate the above in a clear well defined roadmap and understand which approach to use when (pilots & pocs vs roadmap);
• Propose pragmatic yet scalable technical solutions to our clients;
• Navigate beyond Proof of Concept stage to ensure smooth productization;
• Get your hands dirty when needed;
• Provide guidance and mentorship to our team members, fostering inspiration and growth;
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies;

Your Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience and a proven track record ofsuccessfullydeliveringmultiple data analytics projectsinproduction;
• Profoundexpertise inarchitecting,deployingandoptimizingcloud-basedsolutionsatscale;
• You are familiar with Engineering practices such as unit testing, CI/CD, etc. And use SQL and ideally also Python to translate analytical needs into technical products.
• Experience with one, preferably multiple cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google);
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment;
• Experience within dbt is a plus;
• Fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch or French is considered as a big plus.
