3M is seeking an Analytical Testing Coordinator in Zwijndrecht, Belgium. This role oversees subcontracted testing workflows, coordinates sample collection with consultants, and translates proposals into actionable GPOs for internal approval and execution.

You will monitor vendor performance, audit lab reports for quality, and perform financial matching and invoice approvals in a structured environment. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

• Proficient with Excel and data management platforms.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate sample collection schedules and track chain-of-custody with external labs.
• Synthesize consultant proposals into General Project Outlines (GPOs) for approvals and execution.

• Audit incoming lab reports against GPOs and raw data before archiving.
• Technical review of lab reports against project quality objectives and test method criteria.
• Handle quotation updates, perform three-way matching, and approve external invoices.

Job Description

As an Analytical Testing Coordinator (m/f/*) for the Global EHS Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Manage end-to-end subcontracted testing operational workflows - from initial proposal synthesis down to financial validation and final analytical report verification
• Coordinate sample collection schedules with environmental/technical consultants and track chain-of-custody through external ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs
• Synthesize complex consultant proposals into standardized General Project Outlines (GPOs) for internal approval and operational execution
• Monitor lead times, chase pending analytical reports, address quality query resolution (e.g., out-of-spec results, re-testing requests), and evaluate lab turnaround performance
• Audit incoming Lab reports against GPO requirements and raw consultant data before final archiving
• Technical review of the Lab report against the quality objectives for the project and the performance criteria of the test method.
• Request quotation updates, perform 3-way matching (Quote vs. Purchase Order vs. Invoice), and approve external lab/consultant invoices

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bechelor's degree in one of the following Chemistry, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Office Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management
• Experience in a role requiring strong administrative support, project coordination, procurement support, or data management within a structured corporate, technical, or industrial environment
• Sound understanding of analytical parameters, unit conversions, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage external vendors, field consultants, and internal interdisciplinary teams effectively.
• Exceptional precision in data auditing, numeric reconciliation, and quality control verification.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Excel) and data management platforms
• Proficiency in Dutch and English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in an analytical lab setting
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
