Job summary

Quality Assistance Ltd. is seeking an Analytical Project Leader in Belgium to turn complex analytical studies into reliable data that informs critical drug development decisions.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinate activities with laboratory teams, ensure GMP/GLP compliance and maintain documentation. Fluency in French and English is required, with at least two years in regulated pharma project management.

• PhD/ MSc or engineering background.
• Minimum 2 years in analytical project management in regulated environments (GMP/GLP).

Responsibilities

• Draft clear and comprehensive technical agreements.
• Coordinate project activities with laboratory teams to meet timelines.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and contractual commitments.
• Monitor sample and reference standard availability.
• Communicate project progress with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and QA-compliant reports.
• Review final reports including trend analyses and QA compliance.
• Support client visits and contribute to audit preparation.

As an Analytical Project Leader, you will play a central role in turning complex analytical studies into reliable data that drives life-changing therapies forward. Acting as the key point of contact for your clients, you will guide them through each stage of their project while ensuring scientific rigor, regulatory compliance and effective coordination with laboratory teams. Your work will directly support critical decisions in drug development and help bring innovative treatments closer to patients.

• Draft clear and comprehensive technical agreements
• Coordinate project activities to meet defined timelines with laboratory teams
• Ensure compliance with protocols and contractual commitments
• Monitor the availability of samples and reference standards
• Communicate project progress clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
• Review final reports including trend analyses, conclusions and QA compliance
• Manage quality documentation in collaboration with laboratory and compliance teams
• Support client visits and contribute to audit preparation

Skills you'll need to bring

To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate:

• Scientific background (PhD, Master’s degree or Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in analytical project management within a regulated environment (GMP, GLP or GcLP), ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Fluency in French and English (minimum B2 level)
• Customer-focused mindset
• Adaptability in a changing environment
• Problem-solving and risk anticipation skills
