Randstad Belgium is seeking two Analytical Development Analysts in Waals-Brabant to join a 35+ person lab advancing life-changing therapeutics. You will develop and validate analytical methods, ensure data integrity, and support transfers for early-phase development.

Requires 3–5+ years in pharma, strong HPLC/UPLC/GC skills, and fluent French with good English; team-oriented, rigorous, and compliant in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent scientific field.
• 3 to 5+ years in a regulated pharmaceutical lab with autonomy.
• Strong proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, and GC with UV/Vis, RI, or MS detection.
• Fluent French (spoken/written) and good written English.
• Team-oriented, rigorous, quality-compliant, with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, drug substances, and drug products across development and routine phases.
• Perform stability analyses, release testing, dissolution, forced degradation, and IPC testing for early-phase clinical development.
• Analyze complex data, ensure consistency, and support transfers to QC laboratories and external partners.
• Maintain strict compliance with procedures and document results with lab software, ensuring data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Method Development & Testing: Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, drug substances, and drug products across developmental and routine phases.
• Laboratory Operations: Perform stability analyses, release testing, multimedia dissolution, forced degradation studies, and IPC testing for early-phase clinical development.
• Data Interpretation & Transfer: Analyze complex data with a critical mindset, ensure consistency, and support analytical transfers to QC laboratories and external partners.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with procedures, document results using specialized lab software, and ensure data integrity through peer double-checks.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or an equivalent scientific field.
• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory with demonstrated operational autonomy.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, and GC chromatography paired with UV/Vis, RI, or MS detection techniques. Proven experience in method development and validation is required.
• Languages: Fluent French (spoken/written) and good written English (for procedures and technical documentation).
• Mindset: Team-oriented, highly rigorous, quality-compliant, with strong communication skills to clearly present results.
