Jefferson Wells Belgium is seeking a Development Analyst for a globally recognised pharmaceutical client in Belgium. You will support development, validation and transfer of analytical methods for biological products across all development stages, contributing to lab activities, data analysis and documentation.

The role emphasizes GMP/GLP compliance, collaboration with scientists and cross-functional teams, and autonomy in the lab, with a strong focus on chromatography and capillary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry or analytical field.
• 3–8 years in pharma/biotech/analytical labs.
• Hands-on method development and validation experience.

Responsabilités

For one of our clients, a globally recognised pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Development Analyst.

You will support the development, validation and transfer of analytical methods for biological products across all stages of development. Working within the Analytical Development Sciences department, you will contribute to laboratory activities, data analysis and scientific documentation while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Your mission

• Design and execute analytical experiments to support development projects.
• Develop, validate and transfer analytical methods for biological products.
• Perform laboratory analyses using chromatographic and/or capillary electrophoresis techniques.
• Analyse and verify experimental data and communicate results to project teams.
• Support release testing and stability studies.
• Prepare, review and approve analytical methods, protocols and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with scientists, technicians and cross-functional stakeholders.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech or analytical laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation.
• Knowledge of protein chemistry.
• Practical experience with chromatography (SEC, RP, Affinity, IEX, HILIC, HIC) and/or capillary electrophoresis (CZE, CGE, iCE, MauriCE).
• Experience writing and reviewing protocols, methods and technical reports.
• Able to work autonomously in a laboratory environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in French with a good working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP requirements is an asset.
