Axis Group is seeking an AML AI Specialist to transform compliance processes by integrating AI into AML workflows. You’ll collaborate with AML analysts to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency, using your AML and AI expertise in an agile setup with partial teleworking.

You’ll apply KYC, KYT and due diligence knowledge to build prototypes, pilot solutions, and ensure regulatory alignment while delivering measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• You analyze workflows in collaboration with AML analysts to gain insights into the current allocation of time and resources;
• You identify tasks that are repetitive and manual, determining which of these could benefit from AI-enhanced assistance;
• You prioritize opportunities for improvement based on their potential business impact and the simplicity of their implementation;
• You maintain a streamlined backlog of initiatives focused on process optimization and automation;
• You configure and develop AI agents, copilots, and prompt-driven assistants that facilitate operational activities;
• You design, build, and roll out prototypes and pilot solutions to swiftly validate their value;
• You test AI solutions with end users, continually refining them based on their feedback and performance metrics;
• You leverage your knowledge in KYC, KYT, Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, PEP and sanctions screening, Source of Funds/Source of Wealth investigations, and transaction monitoring;
• You ensure that all solutions comply with existing AML controls, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures;
• You measure time efficiencies and operational advantages, document essential insights, and offer recommendations for further improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Possesses a solid background in anti-money laundering (AML) operations, regulatory compliance, or the field of financial crime;
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Transaction (KYT), and Due Diligence processes;
• Has experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools, AI-driven assistants, or generative AI platforms;
• Capable of independently developing and evaluating practical prototypes;
• Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills and effectively collaborates with business stakeholders;
• Takes a hands-on, pragmatic approach and is focused on achieving results;
• Can simplify complex artificial intelligence concepts for diverse audiences;
• Thrives in a dynamic and innovative agile work environment;
• Is fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
