Abakus IT-Solutions is seeking an experienced Program Manager – Initiative Owner to lead the definition and implementation of a modern enterprise data strategy. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Management.
• Proven experience with Data Mesh, Data Products, and Self-Service Data Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and modern data architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive a comprehensive enterprise data management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation of modern data practices, including Data Mesh, Data Products, Data Virtualization, and Self-Service capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design modern data architectures covering ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, and data accessibility.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, including cloud data platforms, data governance tools, data catalogs, and virtualization solutions.
• Define implementation roadmaps, milestones, priorities, and resource planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, compliance, and accessibility.
• Drive adoption by preparing training plans and supporting business users during the rollout.
• Promote collaboration between business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

We're looking for an experienced Program Manager – Initiative Owner to lead the definition and implementation of a modern enterprise data strategy. You'll work at the heart of a large-scale transformation, collaborating with business stakeholders, data experts, and technology leaders to build innovative data management solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader with strong expertise in data management, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise transformation.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and drive a comprehensive enterprise data management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation of modern data practices, including Data Mesh, Data Products, Data Virtualization, and Self-Service capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design modern data architectures covering ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, and data accessibility.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, including cloud data platforms, data governance tools, data catalogs, and virtualization solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Management.
• Proven experience with Data Mesh, Data Products, and Self-Service Data Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and modern data architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with data catalogs, governance tools, virtualization technologies, and data visualization solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading complex transformation programs in large organizations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Data Science, or Machine Learning is considered an asset.
