We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and coordinate cybersecurity, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects. The role involves managing projects from initial analysis through operational implementation, while coordinating business, IT, cybersecurity experts, governance bodies and external providers.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity and GRC projects from initiation to implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, budgets and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Identify, assess and monitor project risks and mitigation plans.
- Prepare project reporting for governance bodies and sponsors.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, working meetings and steering committees.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to cybersecurity roadmaps, maturity assessments and improvement plans.
- Support the implementation of security policies, standards, procedures and control frameworks.
- Contribute to regulatory and security compliance initiatives, including NIS2, ISO 27001, CyFun or equivalent frameworks.
- Support the deployment and operationalization of GRC tools and processes.
- Coordinate cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
- Facilitate decision-making between business needs, regulatory requirements and operational constraints
Required Profile
Project Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
- Proven experience in project risk, budget, planning and dependency management.
- Strong reporting, synthesis and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of traditional and/or Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience managing cybersecurity projects is a strong asset.
Technical & Methodological Skills
- Good understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations such as NIS2, CyFun and ISO 27001 or equivalent.
- Understanding of cybersecurity risk analysis and treatment methodologies.
- Experience contributing to security policies, standards, procedures or control frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical experts, business stakeholders and governance bodies.
- General understanding of key cybersecurity domains.
- Knowledge of GRC practices and processes.
Experience & Certifications
- Project Management: Confirmed – minimum 60 months
- Human Change Management: Confirmed – minimum 60 months
- GRC: Confirmed
- Supplier / Public Procurement Management: Basic knowledge
- Cybersecurity: Basic knowledge
- Security Policies, Standards & Procedures: Preferred
- NIS2, CyFun, ISO 27001 or equivalent: Preferred
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK: an asset
Languages
- Good command of French and English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
