In4Matic seeks an AI engineer to design, build, test, and run the foundations for practical artificial intelligence across the organization. You will create AI services, agents, retrieval solutions, model integrations, pipelines, observability, and reusable platform blocks.

Responsibilities include implementing AI services and APIs, building reusable components, and setting up automated test suites. You will apply CI/CD and MLOps practices, support sandbox environments, and ensure production

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a software/ML engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with APIs, authentication, containers, and automated testing.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, retrieval, agents, model APIs, and evaluation methods.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, infrastructure as code, observability, and cloud or container platforms.
• Attention to security, privacy, documentation, and reliability.
• Knowledge of public sector contexts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement AI services, agents, retrieval solutions, and API integrations.
• Build reusable components for model access, prompting, context management, evaluation, logging, cost tracking, and error handling.
• Set up automated test and evaluation suites for quality, reliability, safety, performance, and cost.
• Apply CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps practices for versioning, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and rollback.
• Provide technical support for sandbox environments and proofs of concept.
• Prepare AI solutions for production under architecture, security, and governance requirements.
• Support data and platform teams with privacy-safe test data and data flows.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and examples for cross-team reuse.
• Analyse operational issues and improve based on logs and feedback.
