Ferranti Computer Systems is seeking a hands-on AI Expert to design, build, and productionize AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will turn proofs-of-concept into scalable, secure, production-ready applications while collaborating with product, consulting, and engineering teams.

Key focus areas include deploying AI agents and copilots, guiding architectural trade-offs for performance, security, and cost, and advising on Copilot Studio, Power Platform, D365, and MECOMS 365 to deliver

We are looking for a hands-on AI Expert who has experience designing, building and productizing AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will help Ferranti accelerate its AI initiatives by turning ideas and proof-of-concepts into scalable, secure and production-ready solutions.

You will work closely with our product, consulting, and engineering teams to transform AI ideas into secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions.

Help teams turn AI ideas into practical, secure, and scalable solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Support the team in how to move AI solutions from proof of concept into production


• Guide teams on the right AI approach, model, and tools.


• Keep performance, cost, security, and governance in balance.


• Translate technical complexity into clear, practical decisions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

• Build and support AI agents and copilots in collaboration with product and engineering teams.


• Support the team in making technical trade-offs related to performance, security, scalability and cost.


• Guide teams from concept to deployment.


• Advise Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365.

What you bring

We are looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience with from previous AI implementations.


• Practical knowledge of Copilot Studio, D365, Powerplatform and the wider Microsoft ecosystem (knowledge of other AI tools is a plus)


• Experience in making decisions around security, scalibilty, performance & costs.


• The ability to guide others, challenge assumptions, and explain complex topics in clear business language.

And even more interesting if you have :

• Experience supporting multiple teams or projects


• Exposure to cost optimization or scaling AI solutions


• AI pricing modelling to customers
