eXalt Belgium is seeking an AI Engineer to join on a permanent contract in Brussels, working on production-ready AI solutions across RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. You will integrate OpenAI APIs and orchestrate complex workflows with n8n or UiPath, collaborating within Agile teams to deliver high-impact enterprise projects.

The role emphasizes production-first thinking, scalable architectures, and a strong emphasis on business value.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years in Data, AI, or Intelligent Automation.
• Deep expertise in Python (FastAPI, LangChain, ML frameworks, Vector Databases).
• Concrete experience with RAG, OpenAI API, n8n, UiPath, and OCR solutions.
• Solid background in software architectures and process modeling (BPMN, UML).
• Comfortable working in Scrum or Agile environments.
• Fluent in French (C2) and professional English (C1); Dutch is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Design & Development: Build AI solutions based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector databases, and LLMs.
• Industrialization: Create and scale AI and ML pipelines using Python.
• API Integration: Integrate OpenAI APIs and deploy open-source models.
• Workflow Automation: Connect and automate complex workflows using n8n or UiPath.
• Agile Collaboration: Partner with Product and Business teams within Agile rituals.
• Technical Excellence: Optimize AI architectures for performance, security, and scalability; act as technical reference point.
