Data Wizards is seeking an AI Engineer to collaborate with clients, design and deploy ML solutions, and drive AI strategy across industries. You will join a small but ambitious team focused on delivering high-impact data and AI projects.

The role requires hands-on ML experience, cloud proficiency (Azure), and strong client-facing skills in a fast-paced consulting environment. Hybrid work and ongoing growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (business or engineering).
• 3–4 years of experience in a consulting AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience at the intersection of consulting, ML engineering, and data science.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions tailored to various industries.

As an AI Engineer, your mission would include:

• Supporting the continuous improvement of AI methodologies and contributing to internal innovations within the company.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the organization.
• Attending client meetings and presenting findings, recommendations, and AI solutions in a clear and structured manner.

Job requirements

You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:

Background

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (such as business or engineering).
• 3-4 years of experience in a consulting environment or a related AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience working at the intersection of consulting, machine learning engineering, and data science.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques.
• Hands-on experience with NLP is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models into production and working with LLMs in a real-world setting.
• Knowledge of best practices in DevOps/MLOps.

Soft Skills

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Languages:

Fluent in English. French or Dutch Native.
