In The Pocket is seeking a Quality Engineer to own quality as a discipline within a fast-moving, AI-driven delivery environment. You will shape strategy, coach teams, and ensure guardrails keep pace with evolving tooling.

You’ll work with designers, engineers, strategists and data specialists across Europe to improve testing, metrics, and release governance. You will design robust quality processes, validate AI-assisted test approaches, and guide teams toward better practices to ensure quality

Qualifications

Proven experience in software quality engineering.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to shape quality processes, not just follow them.
Excellent communicator who can explain complex concepts to different audiences.
Genuine curiosity about AI's role in software engineering.

Responsabilités

Design and own a scalable quality strategy for accelerated software delivery.
Monitor quality health using meaningful metrics and govern release management processes.
Identify and fix structural quality issues through process changes, tooling, or coaching.
Actively explore and evaluate AI support for quality work, including generating test cases and deploying autonomous agents.
Stay close to AI tooling developments and apply a critical, evidence based perspective on what to adopt.
Challenge designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria from a quality perspective.
