Michael Page International (Belgium) seeks an AI Director to shape AI strategy across client engagements and internal teams. You will bridge technology and business, engaging with C-level executives to define roadmaps and transformation programs.

You will lead AI governance, architecture discussions, and senior leadership collaboration, mentoring consultants, data scientists, and engineers while driving high-impact AI initiatives with autonomy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, technology, or digital transformation environments.
• Proven track record defining and delivering AI strategies and large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies including Generative AI, ML, data & cloud platforms.
• Credible engagement with executive stakeholders and technical teams.
• Solid commercial acumen and experience supporting business growth.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment is highly desirable.

Job Description

As AI Director, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the AI vision both internally and across client engagements. Acting as the bridge between technology and business, you will help executive stakeholders understand how Artificial Intelligence can create competitive advantages, improve operational efficiency, and unlock new growth opportunities.

This role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical credibility. You will engage with C-level executives to define AI roadmaps and transformation programs, while maintaining the ability to challenge architects, data scientists, and engineering teams on technical implementation choices.

AI Strategy & Executive Advisory

• Define and drive AI strategies aligned with clients' business objectives and transformation agendas.
• Advise C-level stakeholders on AI opportunities, investment priorities, governance frameworks, and organizational change.
• Identify emerging market trends and translate them into actionable business initiatives.
• Support executive decision-making by assessing the value, risks, and scalability of AI initiatives.

Business Transformation & Client Engagement

• Lead executive discussions around AI-driven transformation and innovation.
• Partner with clients to identify use cases that improve productivity, customer experience, operational excellence, and revenue generation.

• Support business development efforts, proposal creation, and executive presentations.

Technology & Innovation Leadership

• Provide leadership on AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Automation, Data Platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Challenge and guide technical teams on architecture, scalability, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Ensure that technology choices support long-term business objectives.
• Drive innovation initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships across business and technology functions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams composed of consultants, AI specialists, data professionals, and technology leaders.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical experts and business decision-makers.
• Mentor and develop future leaders within the AI practice.

The Successful Applicant

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, technology, digital transformation, data, or AI-related environments.
• Proven track record in defining and delivering AI strategies and large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data & Cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with both executive stakeholders and highly technical teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting business growth.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment is highly desirable.
