Asenium Consulting is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in Brussels. The role focuses on facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams, and ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include backlog support, monitoring velocity, and promoting continuous improvement across projects. Strong English, French or Dutch language skills are required, with a solid foundation in Agile methodologies and software development practices.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Knowledge of Agile reporting and tracking tools, such as Jira.
• An understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
• Sound knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of project management methodologies.
• French and/or Dutch proficiency
• English proficiency

Responsabilités

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Schedule and monitor the key stages of the methodology.
• Ensure the proper application of the Scrum methodology and help the project team overcome obstacles.
• Support the Product Owner with Product Backlog management.
• Support the team in delivering the Definition of Done and Sprint Backlog.
• Track team capacity and velocity for planning and progress monitoring.
• Coach and challenge the project team.
• Promote the team’s gradual self-organisation.
• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from external distractions.
• Promote Agile methods across the organisation.
• Report on the proper implementation of the Scrum methodology within projects.
• Manage risks and issues.
• Coach business lines and stakeholders on effective collaboration with the team.
