dataroots, a Talan company, seeks an engineer to transform client intent into production-ready agentic AI within the client’s own data, systems, and identity setup. You’ll work between strategy, analytics, and technical teams to determine where an agent genuinely helps and where it is the wrong tool.

You will ship the agents, build connections to data and systems, and provide a usable interface when needed. This role emphasizes real production work and lasting impact across engagements.

Qualifications

• ≈3 years building software/data systems; shipped code to real users; owned end-to-end.
• Experience with LLM tools and production evaluation/observability.
• Ability to bring structure and momentum in a thin-brief, chaotic environment.
• Fluency in English plus Dutch and/or French.

Responsabilités

• Understand before you build: map how work happens and where AI helps.
• Build and ship in the client's stack: code runs in production.
• Draw the line: define handoffs between agent and humans.
• Ship to adoption: enable client team to run and extend.
• Carry it forward: create reusable building blocks for future engagements.
• Own the playbook: shape Dataroots' agentic AI offerings and delivery.
