Job summary

ASCO, a Belgian aerospace subcontractor, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for our plant in Belgium. You will lead supplier quality initiatives, audits, and corrective actions to ensure product quality and supplier performance.

Expect close collaboration with procurement, engineering, and suppliers across international locations. The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent by experience, fluency in English with either French or Dutch, and a pro-active, travel-ready mindset to

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial manufacturing in an international mechanical company is a must.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and process quality audits at potential new suppliers.
• Support the buyer during the RFQ phase.
• Compile audit reports and evaluation reports; follow up actions.
• Manage supplier quality during production start-up and provide quality metrics.
• Develop continuous improvement plans with suppliers and ensure corrective actions.
