KU Leuven Mecha(tro)nic System Dynamics Group seeks a research engineer to advance vibrational simulation and testing for aerospace applications. You will contribute to methods development, numerical modeling and experimental validation within a 100+ researcher division in Leuven.

The role fits a PhD pathway, offering a structured plan, collaboration with supervisors, and opportunities to present results at conferences and in journals. Alignment with industry roadmaps is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, physics or mathematics required or equivalent.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Experience with dynamic simulation and structural testing.
• Familiar with multibody and finite-element simulation concepts.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python programming.
