SABCA Limburg in Lummen is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the CNC machining and assembly department. You will analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in quality, efficiency and safety on the shop floor, collaborating with operators, team leads, Engineering and other departments.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a technical field, several years of manufacturing experience, and hands-on CNC/assembly exposure, plus knowledge of Lean methods and CAD tools.

Formación

• Master's degree in industrial/ mechanical/ electromechanical engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience in manufacturing and engineering.
• Experience with CNC machining and/or assembly environments is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies: 5S, Visual Management, Flow and Value Stream Mapping.
• Work accurately with a strong focus on quality and results.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of EN9100 and ISO 14001.
• Basic CAD experience with CATIA and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Act as back-up for the Process Owner for trimming and assembly processes and provide technical support in follow-up.
• Analyse customer specifications and translate them into manufacturing processes for trimming and assembly.
• Define and align manufacturing strategy for trimming and assembly with the customer.
• Develop, program and verify CNC and CMM programs for trimming activities with a focus on quality and repeatability.
• Create and maintain work and recording instructions for trimming and assembly.
• Provide technical follow-up and issue resolution during production of trial parts.
• Support ramp-up and smooth transition to serial production.
• Apply problem-solving methods and root cause analysis to early production runs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering to meet EN9100/ISO14001 standards.
