Robert Half is seeking a Teamlead in Accounting for an international organization with a strong focus on operational excellence. You will lead general accounting services in a shared services setting, manage month-end closings, and mentor colleagues.

The role requires a degree in accounting and at least 5 years of experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and strong knowledge of MS Office and accounting systems. A competitive salary and extra-legal benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in a professional environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, independent, initiative-driven team player with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid knowledge of accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Oversee delivery of general accounting services within shared services, including planning, execution, and follow-up of month-end closings.
• Assist team with technical accounting and tax questions; optimize systems, reports, and IT tools.
• Review month-end closings and processes; identify improvements and implement efficient methods.
• Contribute to policies on accounting processes within the shared services structure.
• Support balance sheet reviews, reporting, and tool harmonization.
• Assist ERP implementations and reporting tool roll-outs for accounting.
