Manuchar, a multinational chemicals distributor rooted in Belgium, seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Belgian accounting activities and help professionalize the Finance function. Based at our Antwerp headquarters, you will combine deep accounting expertise with people leadership in an international environment.

You will oversee monthly close, statutory reporting, audits and process improvements while coaching the accounting team and partnering with stakeholders across the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven leadership experience, including team development.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, IFRS, VAT and corporate income tax.
• Experience with process improvement and change management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting activities of our Belgian entities and contribute to the further professionalization of our Finance organization.

Based at our headquarters in Antwerp (Merksem), you will combine strong accounting expertise with people leadership and process improvement. This is an opportunity to make an impact at both an operational and strategic level within an international and entrepreneurial environment.

Your role

As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial reporting of our Belgian entities while leading and developing the accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Managing statutory reporting, VAT and tax compliance.
• Coordinating external audits.
• Leading, coaching and developing the accounting team.
• Driving the standardization and optimization of accounting processes.

Your profile
