Qualifications

• You have a degree in accounting or relevant experience.
• You work accurately, in a structured and independent manner.
• You have experience with one or more accounting packages.

• Prepare VAT returns and process foreign VAT.

Your role

You will work closely with our internal accountant and support the full accounting process from A to Z. You will have the opportunity to develop further within a growing family business where initiative and involvement are valued.

Booking purchase and sales invoices

• Processing financial transactions (CODA)
• Preparing sales invoices in accordance with applicable VAT regulations
• Preparing VAT returns and processing foreign VAT
• Supporting the closing of financial years
• Checking and processing payroll reconciliations
• Applying for excise duty refunds
• Working with Isabel and automatic payment files
• Following up on customer and supplier accounts
• Supporting accounting projects

Your profile

• You have a degree in accounting or relevant experience
• You work accurately, in a structured and independent manner
• You have experience with one or more accounting packages
• You communicate professionally with customers and suppliers
• You are eager to learn and enjoy taking responsibility
• You have an eye for detail and work correctly
• You are willing to follow internal training on 1 to 2 Saturdays per month (September – May)
• You are flexible and enjoy contributing to the organisation
