Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

The Role\ We’re seeking a results-driven, experienced Account Executive based in Europe to join our team and lead our sales efforts across the EMEA region. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and booking meetings to closing contracts and building long-term client relationships. You’ll work closely with our Head of Partnerships to drive revenue growth, represent FirstIgnite at conferences and events, and provide product feedback to help shape our platform’s future.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and engage prospective universities in the EMEA region
  • Book and run sales appointments, including technical product demos
  • Negotiate terms, close SaaS contracts, and secure signatures
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Attend conferences and events to generate leads and strengthen partnerships
  • Provide timely and actionable feedback to the product team to improve platform functionality and effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reporting to the Head of Partnerships

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of closing SaaS contracts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly effective in a remote work environment
  • Experience selling into higher education or B2B environments preferred
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are an asset
  • Ability to travel within EMEA for conferences and client meetings
